Projects & Achievements
Text Crisis Service – EYUP
We helped design and launch the South Yorkshire text crisis service, including the keyword EYUP—making support confidential, fast and accessible when it’s needed most.
Neurodiversity Principles & Transitions
We reviewed the SY Neurodiversity Principles for the NHS ICB and worked on children‑to‑adult care transitions—pushing for earlier conversations, flexible appointments, welcoming spaces, and accessible info (digital, paper, Braille, translations, BSL).
A shared definition of bullying (Oct–Nov 2025)
We co‑created a clear, youth‑informed definition (based on the Scottish model) to help schools and local authorities monitor, report and respond consistently—improving mental health and safety for young people.
LGBTQA+ Hate Crime Awareness
We launched SY‑wide posters and a leaflet to raise awareness, encourage reporting and signpost support.
House of Commons advocacy (Nov 13, 2025)
Eight Champions spoke at “Growing Up in a Low‑Income Family – Children’s Ideas for the Child Poverty Strategy”—sharing lived experiences and actions the Government can take now.
Training & co‑design
We helped develop SWYPFT Young People’s Connector Training, created an animation, and completed the programme we co‑designed. We also took part in You’re Welcome training, online safety sessions, interview skills and public speaking.
