Our team welcomes early perinatal referrals to ensure that families receive the right support from the very beginning of their journey. By working closely with the Jessop Wing Hospital in Sheffield and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we are able to provide a joined-up approach to care that focuses on compassion, communication, and continuity.
From the moment a potential diagnosis or concern arises, early referral allows us to connect families with the right professionals, information, and emotional support. This may include:
- Specialist input from perinatal and neonatal teams
- Family support and counselling for parents and siblings
- Collaborative care planning between hospital and community services
- Transition support from hospital to home or hospice care
Our shared goal is to give families time, space, and support to make informed decisins and to ensure that care is personalised, coordinated, and centred around what matters most to them.
