It is sometimes difficult to talk to children about asthma. It is very important that you encourage your child to ask you anything they want to know.
First of all read about asthma. Make sure you know as much as you can, so you can answer as many of their questions as you can. If there are any you cannot answer, it is important to write these questions down and take them to your next visit to see your GP or asthma nurse.
