Continence and Urology Service - Barnsley
The continence and urology service provides specialist bladder and bowel assessment, treatment and management for service users with an identified incontinence problem.
Children with a physical or learning disability that impacts directly on their ability to achieve continence will be considered for provision of continence products.
1. Have an Educational Health and Care Plan
2. Be under the care of a Consultant Paediatrician
3. Be 4 years of age or above
4. Have not achieved continence
Barnsley Hospital / Community Paediatrics are no longer accepting referrals for any kind of enuresis. Acute paedaitrics will accept referrals from GPs for children with bowel issues/chronic constipation which connot by managed in primary care.
