Role within the CYP Alliance

I am the Project Support Officer for the CYP Alliance team. I’m responsible for assisting with the development of the Healthier Together website, which holds a mirror up at the work of the CYP Alliance.

Why does it matter?

I enjoy collaborating with our enthusiastic team to make a real difference in the lives of Children and Young People in South Yorkshire.

My impact

For many years, I've run successful wellness businesses while simultaneously home educating my autistic children. During that time, I created various programs for parents to help them manage their daily lives more effectively.

Something a bit different…

My biggest passion in life is dancing. When I'm not working, you'll often find me on the dance floor, dancing salsa or kizomba. If I'm not dancing, I love to indulge in various crafts, especially crochet.

Where can you get help?

If you think your child is having trouble with communicating and talking to you, discuss your concerns with a professional such as a health visitor, GP, nursery/school teacher who can provide advice and consider whether they may require a referral to a speech and language therapist or GP.
